In the coldest day in February, with negative-degree temperature, the Site for Smiles and Smarts team of volunteers embarked to door-knock in Des Moines neighborhoods, selling “DREAM BIG” T-shirts and raising donations for Site for Smiles and Smarts.
Overall, 45 minutes was all they could endure in the bitter cold, but they raised $140, paying for the monthly tuition and education of 9 Pakistani children.
